Hello everyone!

How's your new year?  I hope you had fun and enjoyable celebration.

Thanks be to God for the wonderful 2017 ... that was a blessed one!  Lots of unforgettable moments like the grand family reunion in Davao City.  That was the last meeting also with my fav uncle Ben who passed away last December.  Lucky enough that I was able to bond and hug him for the last time during that visit in Davao City last May.  

My sis Malou's visit to Japan and Darling visit from Canada was great too! 

My 2017 was another busy year on travels ... i loved all the places i had been especially in Europe wherein I visited Austria, Spain, Hungary and Slovakia.  Thanks to all the kindness of my loving relatives and friends that I met there.

 Special thanks to my awesome bestie!!   You're the best dear!  Thank you for always being a very good friend of mine!

Exploring Bataan and visiting Okinawa was superb too! Including the summer visit in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo.  That was sooo hectic sched but incredible!  Thank you Lord for the strength, power and for being my provider always! 

I am also grateful to all the favorable works and activities that i did and experienced!  Nothing is impossible when i always depend on You!   

Foremost,  thanks be to God for protecting and watching over my family for the whole 2017. 

I do hope and pray for another healthy, happy and blessed 2018.

Have you noticed?  The life span of gadgets now-a-days like mobile phones only works normally for about two years? No matter how you take good care of them ... for no apparent reasons it usually stops working after two years... same things happen to all my smartphones for this past 6 years.  After two years, i need to buy a new one.  Smarty mobile industry ... well, if they produce a long life device ... how could they profit more then? ... it's business anyway!  

 Luckily ... Santa Claus is existing in my life ... seems i have been good this year so i got this reward!  Thank you so much for my new smartphone ... and to top it all , i got free docomo-pad too!  What a blessing isn't it?

My new toy!

My 5 year old waterproof pentax camera is not working anymore ... honestly, it's sad. 

I will travel abroad starting Sunday and probably go on swimming and hiking so i decided to buy a new waterproof camera ... many suggested to have this Nikon's Coolpix digital camera ... so i did!  

One more thing i like with this digital camera is that it has a build in wifi and NFC or Near Field Communication Technology.   I can easily tag photos from camera to my smartphone.  It also have a GPS that coordinates and maps my shots!

Momijiyama Japanese Garden

Momijiyama Japanese Garden is located in Sumpu Park.
It's very near in my place but it's been a while since i visited here ...

We can always find happiness everywhere !  

We enjoyed the matcha and Japanese sweet at the tea pavilion.

 What a soothing place to relax. 

I think the best season to visit here is autumn... as the name of the garden is Momijiyama - mountains of red leaves ;-) 

Golden Week in Japan!

How's your Golden Week here in Japan?

Usually ... whenever there is long holidays in Japan ... many people are traveling in other countries ---like my daughter who is enjoying her travel in Cebu, Philippines with friends right now.  Some are having a vacation somewhere around Japan.    

It's expected that during this holiday season ... the roads and sightseeing spots here in Japan are very crowded.

Before, i usually make this opportunity to travel abroad but this time ... i prepared to stay at home and be quiet ... not because i got sick :P .... truth is,  i really don't want to be in crowded area anymore!

Besides ... i will be going out of the country next week so i need to save more money and energy too.... 😍   

This is Koinobori or carp streamers as Japanese traditional symbol on celebrating the boys good future and that they will grow healthy and strong.  It's a part of GW's holiday on the celebration of Children's Day every May 5.
