A surprise Treat to Kricel in Sanrio Puroland

Aside from Elsa and Ana ... another fav character of my niece Kricel is Kitty... so since she is in the land of Kitty, orig character of Japan ... i told her mom (my sis) that i will treat them to Sanrio Puroland as my secret present to Kricel. 

Kricel have no idea that we will go to Sanrio today ... we said we will just go out shopping around Tokyo ... 

But when we reached Tama Station ... she noticed right away the promo banners and boards of Sanrio Puroland. 

Her face became excited... telling us that maybe the Sanrio land is there and began inviting me and her mom to visit there ...
at first we are saying ... noooo we wil not go there ...

But she is very eager ... " we are here already ... let's take this chance ! ", she said  lol 

So finally... i admitted that we are actually going there and it was supposed to be a surprise ... and learning that we will go there ... she was overwhelmed of joy!

SANRIO PUROLAND is an indoor amusement park located in Tama New Town,  30 minutes from Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Since it is indoors you can go there regardless of the weather and enjoy the ambiance of HELLO KITTY's world with attractions, games, shows, and of course special food and lots of items for shopping, including Puroland limited items like watches and bags created especially for adults with very stylish designs!!

A visit to Ueno and Akihabara

Kricel wanted to see the panda in Ueno Zoo ... so i took her and her mom to Ueno.
After that ... my sis wanted to buy her phone battery charger  ... so i took them to Akihabara.

UENO

A district in Tokyo's Taitō Ward, best known as the home of Ueno Park.

We had our lunch in Fam's House, a grill and diner restaurant near Ueno Station  

UENO PARK is a large public park next to Ueno Station in Central Tokyo.

KIYOMIZU KANNON TEMPLE

Kiyomizu Kannondo was originally built in 1631 as part of Kaneiji Temple. Its design, including a wooden balcony extending from the hillside, was inspired by Kiyomizudera in Kyoto. 

The temple is home to an image of Kosodate Kannon, the goddess of conception, and is particularly popular among women hoping to have children.

TOSHOGU SHRINE

Ueno Toshogu Shrine was built in 1616 and is one of numerous shrines across the country that are dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo Shogunate. The Ueno Toshogu Shrine used to be incorporated into Kaneiji Temple until 1868. Major renovation works were completed in 2013.

UENO ZOO

Opened in 1882, Ueno Zoo is Japan's oldest zoo. Its most popular residents are giant panda bears, which first moved here in 1972 on the occasion of the normalization of relations between Japan and China. The zoo temporarily had no pandas after the death of Ling Ling in 2008, but received two new baby pandas in February 2011.

AKIHABARA 

Akihabara is Tokyo's "Electric Town", located on the eastern side of the central Chiyoda ward. The area houses thousands of shops selling every technological gadget you can imagine, from computers to gaming consoles and vacuums to DVDs, at reasonable prices. This area is also known as the "Gamer's Mecca" and has in recent times become strongly identified with anime/manga (cartoon) subculture, with the legions of otaku geeks traipsing down on weekends known as Akiba-kei.

It's been 4 days already and still I have hoarse voice ... 

Too bad i can't join the recording of my work in Web TV ...

However, my sis Leng saved my ass ...
She relieved me today on recording our June Web TV info.

Sharing funny stuff ... 

Lately... me and my sis Leng are busy cleaning and clearing my stuff at home.

One interesting thing we found was this one.  

I was trying to recall where did the hell i got  this stuff  ...

i think i got this one from a Christmas raffle present of my NAKAMA group ... many decades ago.

We tried to put batteries on it and yeees ... it did work and this stuff is funny!  :D

Actually there is also a female version of this which was indicated in the box label.
If you are lucky to find it ... maybe it cost like vintage already ;-)

I found my name!

It was last year in the Philippines that i learned this popular summer campaign of Coca Cola which replaces their iconic logo with popular names.   

My sister told me that they found my name ... 

but unfortunately ... when i was there, i was not able to find it.  

This year ... Japan started the campaign ... 

and i am happy to know that my name is out in the market ...
