Summer Europe Adventure

Throwback!!!
Trip to Europe was one of my memorable adventure this summer.   This was my second time visit in Europe after that travel in Rome last 2009.
This time i was able to visit Paris and Nice in France, then travelled by train in Monaco, Florence and Venice in Italy, then Zurich, Switzerland and flew to London, England.
I was able to go around those countries and cities for only about 18 days ... the schedule was sooo hectic... this was the trip that i can tell "i am really aging !!!" lol...   it was indeed a tiring trip for me but it was such a worthy one.

One of my fave view in Paris... the famous Eiffel Tower.

Da Vinci's Monalisa... finally i met you!!!

Among the countries i visited in Europe, i think Monaco is best for me.  An elegant country.

Oldest casino in the world ... Monte Carlo Casino

I love Nice... more than i expected especially the old town.

Town plaza in Nice

Famous beach in Cannes

Port of Cannes is on the other side of the beach

Old Town in Grasse, France

Venice ... what a lovely city! Perfect for the honeymooners.

Exploring the enchanting maze of narrow alleys and canals was really an unforgettable experience ... grrrrr hahah.

If you are an art lover ... this is the place you should not missed.... Florence, Italy

This was the city where i walked and walked a lot ... just like the wandering jew, Samuel Belibeth ... lol

It was always raining when i visited Zurich.  We had a chance to go up the hill by cable car to see the overview of the city but unfortunately it was too foggy... but i enjoyed travelling by cable train around the city

ohh yes, the old town district of Niederdolf was nice too.

London was cool ... like in Paris, i enjoyed the London bus tour around the city.

too bad i did not meet Peter Pan and Harry Potter :P

How i wish i will be healthy always so i could visit more countries in Europe in the near future ... and if possible, maybe i want to try the backpacking trip especially if i need to visit more than 2 countries ... well, just saying coz i experienced travelling in suitcase that time and it was really hard and tough ... i thought all the train stations in Europe are as convenient as in Japan ... where they provide elevators and escalators and barrier free services.
One more thing that disappoint me were the lack of public toilets.  If you are lucky to find one, you need to pay some Euro in order to use it and you can't use the restaurant toilets not unless you will buy or eat something in that restaurant.
But generally speaking ... sightseeing was excellent ;-)

Travelling is indeed another form of learning ... not only an opportunity to learn other countries cultures and customs or being expose to different kind of people but it also teaches me about the realities in life... like from this adventure, i learned not to expect too much and always be prepared when traveling ... anything can happen... you know ;-)

i never regret i had this travel ... all good things happened were trully wonderful ... and i considered those bad things as experience.

" I believe everything happens for a reason... people change so you can learn to let go... you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself.
Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right ... and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together " -- M.Monroe
