Goodbye to the spring flowers!

Here are some lovely flowers that I've found out blooming in our back yard lately ...
Ajisai or hydrangea... this reminds me that rainy days is just around the corner! This flower is a symbol of rainy seasons here in Japan.
Whoa... it seems that spring seasons is almost over! The Bougainvillea are flowers in warm climate and it's starting to bloom!

Lola's masterpiece!

My mother-in-law made this flower pot all by herself as her project from her "school". Isn't it cute?!

Magnificent colors in the sky...

I was amazed to see this scene from our veranda ... seems like a pure magic from up above!

Rainbows reminds me of an old legend...that there is a treasure buried at the end of the rainbow. I'm just wondering ...is there anybody in this world reach the end of the rainbow? Oooh... lucky you!

Let's visit Kuya Ernie!

There may be times when you cannot find help, but there is no time when you cannot give help.
We really do appreciate if you will take time to visit our kababayan, sempai and friend... kuya Ernie. For other details about his contact, kindly keep in touch with me or to Liza or even to uncle Jo and Dang (^-^)b
Thank you guys...mhwaaah!!!

Gathering for friendly discussion

The Aoi District Residents' Committee of Shizuoka City is now on it's 3rd batch group and it's an honor for me to be chosen as one of their members. We have two years contract to discuss some suggestions, opinions or planning some matters on how to promote, develop, enrich and what ever good for the sake of Aoi District as well as it's citizens. It's new to this committee to have a foreign resident member like me and all I know is that... I hope I can share many thoughts, opinions or ideas regarding some problems and anxieties of the foreigners living in this town!

Folk Dance Rehearsal in the park!

It's too hot today... but the heat did not stop our Philippine NAKAMA group to have our last day folk dances rehearsal at the park near Liza's place. Actually, we are 8 members to dance but one of our member got some personal problems... so she decided not to join the dance anymore. Well... anything can happen and we need to understand each and everyone... so... to our buddy, hang tough to your problems and never give up! If there is anything we can do... count on us! p(^-^)q
It's disappointing that we missed one of our co-members but ... still...'guess we are lucky! Yeah... our former choreographer Amie heard that we need some help so she decided to join the dance... but only in bamboo dance. Well... that's fine... the more participants we have... the merrier!
By the way, we are going to dance the Bulaklakan (flower dance) and Tinikling (bamboo dance). We had a hard practice today but thanks be to God... it's done already! Our group next meeting will be on the main presentation already... that is 6 days from now! I hope we still remember the steps on the main event!!! ngeeeh!
So watch for it guys... it's on May 26, Saturday at Shizuoka FM Hi! International Festival in Keyaki. Our dance sched is around 5:00-5:30... hope to see you all there!
