Ewan ko ba... ang tagal-tagal ko na dito sa Shizuoka City but this is my first time to visit the Sumpu Takumi Shuku. It's a traditional hand craft center here in Shizuoka located in Mariko.
Mula sa bahay namin... through Route 1 ay derecho lang naman po with about 20 minutes drive.
Maliit lang para libutin ang buong place... but not bad... we enjoyed it especially the exhibit of Hina Dolls! S'yempre enjoy rin kami sa tororo lunch namin. Mariko visit won't be complete without trying to eat their tororo or the Japanese grated yam. Naku! mahirap 'to baka maging habit na naman ang pagkain namin ng tororo! Sayang... magaling pa namang gumawa ng tororo si lola before. Well... sa kasamaang palad napasama na mawala po sa memory ni lola ang masarap na paggawa n'ya ng tororo! hehehe!
There are more interesting places in Mariko aside from Sumpu Takumi Shuku but we're not able to roam around kasi kasama namin nga si lola... mahirap po sa kanyang maglakad na! Besides... we're also interested to experience the pottery making.
Maybe next time na lang ulit... (^-^)d
